A scoring TAS of Kyukyoku Tiger II, scoring 12.13 Million points on the 1P side.
The WR is 12,102,840 Points, and is one of the most optimized scores Ive seen in a long time, my first TAS attempts of this game werent breaking 12 Million points, this is actually the 5th iteration of KT2 TAS from me.
I dropped 6k on Boss 5, and 20k on Boss 6, so its not completely optimized, but I think this replay will show enough about the scoring potential of the game and that the WR is indeed a legitimate score that exists.
Some scoring mechanics :
Collecting stars is like Medals, going from 100pts to 10,000pts. Doesnt reset on miss but does on death.
Excess powerups and bombs give 10K-100K when collected.
When bomb stock reaches 6, you get a "Hyper Bomb" these are a lot stronger than normal bombs and give more score in clear bonus, speaking of clear bonus-
BOMB(5000) x STOCK x STAGE
HYPER(20000) x STOCK x STAGE
This run exclusively uses red weapon, as it gives the most tick points in the game and tries to use no autofire whenever possible, no autofire does less damage so more score over time, you feel me?
This thing desynced like 25 times.
re-records : 1,448.
Im fairly confident @Prog61 could produce a better result than me for this, but I'm happy with this outcome as this WR was a mystery for a long time.
