With PCSX2 now having both lightgun and frame advance support, a more extreme TAS is possible, featuring two players at once. I came up with a "workflow", if you will, that makes retrying and rerecording sections of the game much less of a pain than it was on my previous TAS videos.

I'm not 100% sure whether I'll pursue this right now for two reasons:

1. The aim on splitscreen is off. I've adjusted the gun settings to mitigate this as much as possible, but while the horizontal aim is now perfect, the vertical aim has a strange offset that looks unfixable (when aiming near the center: dead on; when aiming high or low: aim is displaced downwards). I can't be completely sure whether that's actually the game's doing or the emulator's, but given the general weirdness and specificity of the issue, I'm thinking it's the emulator.

2. The graphics glitches. The aspect ratio on splitscreen is wrong, and player 2's screen seems to be missing screen flashes, widescreen, fades, and those sorts of overlays, and there's a weird, corrupted-texture-looking plane clipping through the world. I've tried changing renderers, but it didn't fix the problem (Software would fix it, but would result in tiny resolution screens). I fear details like that would distract from a video that's already kind of confusing and insane by itself.

Here's the gun settings I used while recording this video. You may need to adjust the X/Y center values, as they changed for me between attempts. The aim will be off in the main menu, but should be pretty good in two-player mode.

Both Guns:
X Scale: 79,00%
Y Scale: 22,00%
Screen Width: 640px
Screen Height: 480px

Gun 1:
Center X: 354px
Center Y: 155px

Gun 2:
Center X: 457px
Center Y: 132px

Additionally, here are the codes I used.
60 FPS in splitscreen
patch=1,EE,2029224C,extended,24820002

No gun flash
patch=1,EE,20214A44,extended,00000000

No interlacing
patch=1,EE,202AE22C,extended,31420001
