According to Fox News, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end spoke with a reporter about the 'extreme attention' he had received while dating Taylor Swift.
The NFL athlete elaborated on the overwhelming media attention, saying, "It's just outside noise."
He then commented on the fact that being a public person always puts you in the limelight, no matter what you do, therefore he was used to creating headlines.
The 34-year-old player addressed, "Dealing with other people's perspectives on things. If we're not having success, the media may suggest that I wasn't focused or that the team isn't focused on various things.
Travis also revealed that Taylor and he have devised a strategy to deal with this "outside noise": turn a deaf ear to it.
"The only thing we've talked about is as long as we're happy, we can't listen to anything that's outside noise," he said.
"That's all that matters," he said before ending the discussion.
