Crisis averted. Everything's back to normal.

TL;DR: I added some stuff to SFM that clobbered a lot of my TF2 content, I can't work on things until I fix it.

"Verify Integrity of Application Cache" didn't work.

I'm not making a TSA on adding custom content.

Long version:

I added a pack of SFM beta content that I wanted to check out to the folder that I usually add custom stuff too. This is the top of the directory Source Filmmaker, and SFM will go to anything in there first when looking for models and materials. Unfortunately, the content in the beta content pack had a lot of stuff that clobbered most of my TF2 content, including models and textures from the hwm TF2 models (ones I use in my movies), and textures on Team Fortress maps.

I've gotten most of the stuff working by deleting the content I added, but not everything. As you can see, not everything is working. Certain textures on TF2 maps, like some ceilings and signs in 2fort. Most of the textures for the RED and BLU skins of the classes work, but as you can see, the Ubecharge textures are pretty screwy. The Demoman, Soldier, and Engineer's lower arms and the Pyro's head won't change. The Engineer's eyes also seem to melt out of his goggles when he's ubercharged, and the Heavy will become a giant cherry gummy man when RED ubercharged.

Probably worst of all, whenever I create a light, it casts the purple and black checkered pattern anything missing a texture has. This means pretty much everything I had in production is put on hold as lighting is one crucial part to making my movies look good.

There's an SFM update coming on tomorrow, that I believe will replace any missing materials or put back whatever's missing or incorrect if this is an error on the SFM team's part.If it's my error, I'm going to have to remove all the materials and models from the folder I put the beta content into, and start all over again, replacing all my additional models. Either way, expect this week's Team Service Announcement to be a tad late if I get things sorted out.

If the problem persists, if there are any SFM wizards actually know how to fix things and can call me an idiot for ruining everything while fixing my stuff, that would be pretty cool.
