Also called "Buggy" in Europe/South America

This game was a game I could not stop playing in my childhood, as I got it in a cereal box and I was pretty poor at the time. The PC version is very bare bones compared to the Playstation version.
The PC version does not for example, offer the banging and upbeat soundtrack the games comes with, and in CD quality as its not compressed!, and often doesn't show particle effects like Creepy Copse's swamp bubbles, gate trails, and the Angry status is just a transparency filter like the Phantom one is. Least to say it is the inferior version.

Decided to demonstrate how the game would look at 60 FPS and show the prowess of modern emulators being capable of making old uncapped games a fun experience nowadays. The change to 60 frames per second compared to the limits of the console (being around 24-30 frames) changes the physics a lot, making the cars feel more responsive and weighty, but that comes with the cost of some paths/secrets not being able to be accessed such as Claw Shore's shortcut and secret, and some jumps being too tight for comfort.
I'm also very sorry for the annoying or painful audio chipping that happens throughout the game, emulator's fault.

Emulator used: Duckstation
Recorded with OBS Studio
Edited in Adobe Premiere

Note: The oldest video that shows an in-depth guide of the game is tails22x's videos from 14 years ago (as of the release of this video) and it's on glorious 360p.

Venom is the best car for the last track, Buggy Basement, as it makes use of its high weight for top speed and power making the opponents a breeze when compared to using something like the XX4. Ultimately the challenge comes from what the user wants to race with.

There is almost no info about this game on the Internet, and all of the people who worked on this game are only credited in the End Sequence and in the Credits option in the options menu. Gremlin Interactive went defunct on 2003 and Fox Interactive went defunct in 2006, and there's no traces of the team anywhere.
Most assets seem to be default assets from some form of developer kit for the Playstation, and the game ultimately feels very rushed but that's just me theorizing. The game's framerate cap is supposed to be 24 frames per second, but as you can see it has no actual hard cap and it's mostly the Playtstation's limits keeping it locked in there.

There's also a hidden Easter Egg room that I didn't show which is in the track "The Catacombs", but user @adorable_yangire has it on her channel and you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/eQ5Cg9EaoN4

Thanks for watching and reading the description! It was proper time there was a guide to this rather obscure Playstation game, and if no one was gonna do it, it was gonna be myself.
