This is a video walkthrough of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus video game developed and published in 2004 by Konami, based on the second season of the fantastic 2003 TV series.
W H Y W A T C H T H I S V I D E O :
Although panned critically at launch, we have found the game to possess a fair amount of depth and plan to cover it extensively in this video walkthrough series. The gameplay has been recorded in Hard difficulty, which makes this game significantly more challenging and also fun.
This is part of a video walkthrough series of the whole game, where we cover everything needed to achieve 100% completion in the game.
You can watch it to check the gameplay out or use it as a guide to achieve 100% completion in the game. All "missable" collectibles have been timestamped within the comments below.
The gameplay footage has been recorded on a retro gaming PC running Windows XP and the game has been played using a Xbox 360 Controller.
A N T I Q U E S:
The game has a fair amount of replayabilty built into it as it features multiple collectible types in the form of Crystals, Antiques, Bonus Materials etc.
The game also informs you whether you have collected all items within an episode (i.e. a level), including Shurikens, Health pickups etc.
Amongst these, the main collectible to focus on will be the Antiques which tend to be hidden with one antique being present in every episode in most cases. The Antique Detector, unlockable after finishing the Open Tournament Brawl really helps with this endeavour.
T E A M P E R F O R M A N C E R A T I N G:
One of the things that almost everyone struggles with is getting a good performance rating at the end of an episode but we have applied enough technique to finish each episode with a Team Performance Rating of A.
This is not the best rating you can get but it's still good enough and you can use this walkthrough series as a guide to build off of when playing this game yourself.
( T I P : Just remember to swap between all 4 characters on your team when playing through an episode)
