Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 Mutant Nightmare is a sequel in the TMNT series which carry's on in the usual spirit and fashion of the games. I enjoy these games for their none stop mindless beat them up action. This games borrows a bit more from things like the comics with aliens playing a big role in it. Gameplay is pretty straightforward in your usual left to right screen movement along with none stop fighting play style. Each turtle has a normal attack and a super attack which drains some of your health. Along with this turtles can use special team attacks to clear enemies off of the screen. Each turtle has a special move as well or can have other turtles help them get past certain parts. For instance Leonardo can get a boost from Donatello to get to high places. I enjoy the game well enough. Controls are responsive while enemies come at a constant rate. The graphics aren't to bad to look at either. While I don't recommend this as a must have for any Nintendo DS owner it can be a fun way to kill a few hours when you're in the mood for some mindless beat up type action. If you are looking for something for a bit more depth to it though then you might want to pass up this title. Please feel free to comment as always.
