Please visit http://www.mygamereviewsnintendo.com for more Castlevania Portrait of Ruin reviews and other similar titles. Castlevania Portrait of Ruin is one of my favorite entries to the Castlevania series thus far. The game carries many classic elements from the series such as the usual supernatural enemies in the way of mummies, zombies, etc. To the goal of stopping Dracula from his ultimate reawakening along with Death assisting him. Nice elements which have been added included things such as the two character team ability now where you have one character who uses melee weapons and another who uses magic. The ability to switch on the fly works nicely or one character can be AI controlled. Combat is usually fast paced in the usual Castlevania style with leveling up, getting items, new weapons and fighting your day through dungeons to eventually defeat bosses. Nice little extra unlock able features such as optional characters give replay value while a multiplayer option can be enjoyed with a friend. The final battle is what you would expect but still enjoyable with the overall plot for the game having a nice touch and feel to it. Any fan of the series of RPG/Adventure fan should definitely give this game run since it is excellent Nintendo DS title. Please always feel free to comment on the video if you enjoy it or visit the web site or channel to see more reviews on this game and others.
