In this video, I'm doing my very first playthrough video for the Sega Mega Drive (aka Sega Genesis) of a game that is one of my favorite franchises. That game is: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist. This game was developed and published by Konami, it was released in 1992. The Japanese version of this game was called: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Return of the Shredder and the European version of this game came a year later in 1993 and it was known as: Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist. This game is a side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the comic book series and of course the cartoon TV series: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In this game, you can play as 4 of the Turtles: Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello and Raphael. For this playthrough, I'm going to play as the leader of the bunch: Leonardo and I'll be playing in the Hard difficulty. The gameplay of this game is heavily based on Turtles in Time for the Arcade and Super Nintendo, because there are some differences between this and Turtles in Time. The Hyperstone Heist has no longer throwing enemies towards the screen, but the dash feature can be used as a single button. There are 5 stages in this game: New York City, A Mysterious Ghost Ship, Shredder's Hideout, The Gauntlet and The Final Shell Shock. These stages are based on the first Turtles arcade game and Turtles in Time. The bosses in this game are: Leatherhead, Rocksteady, Tatsu, Baxter Stockman, Krang and the final boss: the Super Shredder. I used 1 continue on the 5th stage: The Final Shell Shock, because the enemies on this stage are difficult. So I had to remove the first attempt of this stage after I finished the 4th stage. I think that this one is a lot harder than the Super Nintendo game: Turtles in Time. Overall, it's a good Turtles game, but I prefer Turtles in Time for the Arcade and the Super Nintendo version. I hope you enjoy this playthrough of TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist for the Mega Drive (aka Genesis) and thanks for watching!
