In this video, I'm doing a playthrough of a game that I really wanted to do one. That game is: Captain Commando for the Arcade. This game was developed and published by Capcom, it was released in the Arcade in 1991. Captain Commando was also ported to consoles, such as: Super Nintendo and PlayStation. The PlayStation version of this game was only released in Japan. This game can also be found in compilations, like: Capcom Classics Collection: Remixed for the PSP and Capcom Classics Collection vol. 2 for the PS2 and Xbox. Captain Commando is an Arcade beat 'em up, which features 4 playable characters: Captain Commando, Mack the Knife (Mummy Commando), Ginzu the Ninja (Ninja Commando) and Baby Head (Baby Commando). This game follows the same gameplay as in Capcom's other beat 'em up games, like: Final Fight. There are 9 stages in this game and at the end of each final area of each stage, there is a boss fight. You can pick up some items, like: food (which restores health), as well as other bonus items to increase their score. There are also weapons, such as three different types of firearms, as well as shurikens that can only be used by Ginzu the Ninja. Players can also ride on certain robots when you beat the enemy who rides on a robot and then jumping over the robot. The robots has their own vitality gauge and if they sustains enough damage, it will be destroyed. There are three types of robots in this game: a punching robot, a flame-throwing robot and a freezing robot. The final boss of this game is: Scumocide. This boss can be tough at times, because he uses the combined powers of fire and ice. I wanted to make this playthrough a bit tougher, when I put the difficulty set on level 6, because I like some decent challenge. The character: Captain Commando was also a playable character in MvC1 and MvC2, because I used him two times in MvC1. Overall, this game is really fun, if you like one of those Arcade beat 'em ups by Capcom. I hope you enjoy this playthrough of Captain Commando for the Arcade and thanks for watching!
