Tekken 8 S2 Ranked (7): Playing Like A Garyu For Emperor | Tekken 8 Lee Gameplay
4This was recorded May 28th/29th and are some of the games I played while getting Lee from TK to TE, then a few TE games.
Like I say in the video, I’m editing this after the patch has come out, and I’m not super impressed with it as a whole, but it’s still a decent patch. I really just wish they would hit a ton of characters harder than they have been. Clive heat stuff needs to go. King heat stuff needs to go. Leroy ss3+4 needs to go. Stuff like that, instead of nerfing heat consumption on some moves, and even so, not even on important stuff. Like how are you only nerfing LEN 1 on Lars and ignore PHX 2, 1+2 or f2, 2, h.1 on Clive. Like what? Not only that, but they said buffs are on the way? I don’t wanna doom too much, but that plus Fahk and AK coming back just screams recipe for disaster to me. Especially since they said July patch is last major balance patch for a while. I just hope they know what they’re doing, but we’ll have to see. Until then, I guess I’ll keep smelling the syrup.
I’m surprised how much I still play this game despite my issues with it. I guess deep down I still really enjoy it, more so when I play with friends. That being said, I also see a future where I take another break for a bit, but that’s currently TBD. I wanna hit Tekken God with someone before that point, and I have a feeling it will be Lee and not Lars since I’m higher on him and Lars keeps getting nerfed (which is a good thing, I’m just saying). That’s something we’ll also find out eventually together.
