Telltale's The Walking Dead S2 Episode 5: No Going Back [Part 2/2] (SEASON FINALE)
As Clementine returns to the house while Kenny continues to repair the truck, Jane tells her directly that Kenny has become a liability to the group due to his rash behavior and that he will likely turn on them if he isn't cut loose. Despite this, Clementine remains intent on accompanying Kenny to Wellington in order to ensure Alvin Junior's safety in the survivors' community. Later that night, Clementine is woken up by a sound of wind and as she heads out to investigate, she catches Mike, Bonnie and Arvo preparing to escape with the truck which Kenny recently managed to fix and with the rest of Arvo's supplies. Realizing that three of them will condemn her, Kenny, Jane and Alvin Junior to hunger if they escape, she confronts them at gunpoint, learning that Bonnie and Mike, who grew sympathetic towards Arvo, decided to help him escape due to their shared fear of Kenny. Refusing to let them go, Clementine screams for help, provoking Arvo to shoot her through the chest with Clementine blacking out due to the gunshot wound.
While unconscious, Clementine has a dream set in Kenny's RV two years prior, shortly after Duck was bitten during bandit attack on a motor inn in Macon and just after her original group cut Lilly loose after her murder of Carley. There, she briefly talks to Lee about nature of human cruelty, relating Lilly's reasoning behind decision to kill Carley to the tension between Kenny and Jane.
Upon regaining consciousness, Clementine finds herself in the back of the truck driven by Kenny and Jane, learning that Bonnie, Mike and Arvo escaped on foot after shooting her. As drive progresses, Kenny and Jane start arguing about their destination as Kenny is still dead-set on getting them to Wellington while Jane wants to get everyone out of the mountains and into the warmer climate with Clementine unsuccessfully trying to defuse the situation. Eventually, they end up coming across a large car pile-up with Kenny deciding to siphon gas from one of the abandoned cars. As he heads out, Jane suggests that her and Clementine escape immediately. However, moments later, a horde of zombies that wasn't slowed down by harsh winter conditions in the area attacks them, forcing both Clementine and Jane to evacuate the truck with the latter taking Alvin Junior along. As strong snow blizzard starts sweeping over the area, Clementine quickly finds herself separated from Jane, proceeding to navigate through the harsh storm in order to find either Jane or Kenny. Eventually, she reaches the nearby highway rest stop where she finds Kenny. They are soon joined by Jane who no longer has Alvin Junior with her as he has apparently died. Horrified and enraged by this revelation, Kenny attacks Jane, showing willingness to actually kill her. Realizing this, Clementine desperately pleads both of them to calm down but is unsuccessful as Kenny and Jane engage in a violent brawl on the rest stop with Clementine proceeding to do everything in her power to prevent them from killing each other. However, Kenny eventually manages to overpower Jane with Clementine, realizing that she has no other recourse, pulling her handgun on both of them and shooting Kenny before he can kill Jane. Mortally wounded, Kenny uses the last of his strength to apologize to Clementine for his behavior, assuring her that she did the right thing by killing him with tearful Clementine assuring Kenny that he will be reunited with his family in death. As Kenny dies, Jane reveals that Alvin Junior was alive all along with Jane having only hidden him in one of the nearby abandoned cars, telling Clementine that she did it in order to show how dangerous Kenny could be when enraged but that she didn't think that he'd actually resort to murder. Horrified by Jane's actions and realizing that she essentially tricked her into killing Kenny for no reason, Clementine takes Alvin Junior and denounces Jane, refusing to go with her despite Jane begging her not to leave on her own...
