Hello, dear gamers and welcome back to my channel. After nearly a month of exclusively The Walking Dead content, it's time to head back to the skies with a large-scale continuation of my Ace Combat series walkthrough. Although i intended to record this game way back in November 2017, immediately after the end of my Ace Combat 2 walkthrough, i decided to wait for a better time to record it and with other, more popular AC games finally being in the channel's pipeline, i figured it's as good time as any to finally present the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere to you. Enjoy the walkthrough.

Please note that i am playing fan-translated version of Japanese version of the game made by Project NEMO and that i am planning to achieve UPEO ending in this walkthrough.

About Game: Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere is 1999 combat flight simulator video game with arcade elements developed and published by Namco as PlayStation exclusive. It is third game in mainline Ace Combat series and fifth game in the overall series, having been preceded by 1992's Ace Combat, 1995's Air Combat 22 and Air Combat and 1997's Ace Combat 2. Chronologically, it is the final game in the series, serving as a sequel to both 2019's Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and 2006's Ace Combat X: Skies Of Deception. It is also the series' final entry released on the original PlayStation. Ace Combat 3 is also notable for being the only game in the series that was released in two distinct versions with the version released in Japan being considered superior as it contains actual storyline and more refined gameplay while the version released in Europe and North America is infamous for its stripped-back state caused by the budget constraints imposed by Namco. Due to this, game's critical reception differed widely across the world with Japanese critics praising the game for its ambitious direction while western critics were shocked by the downgrade in comparison to Ace Combat 2 in terms of story and parts of gameplay. Due to Namco having never released proper localization of the game in the west, a team of modders known as Project NEMO started a project to translate the game in English in 2009 with fully translated ROM file of Japanese version being published online in 2010. Prequel of this game, Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies was released in 2001.

Story of the game is set in the year 2040 and follows NEMO, a combat pilot working for UPEO, an international peacekeeping organization sent to Usean continent which has by this point been taken over by multinational corporations in the wake of the collapse of the concept of traditional country. Two of those corporations, Neucom and General Resource, have been stuck in cold war-like state since early 2030s due to Neucom's rapid technological progress threatening General Resource's dominion over the continent. However, as Neucom starts to perform increasingly frequent manouvers and military excercises over General Resource's interest areas, situation starts to escalate with UPEO finding itself trying to maintain peace on the continent by intervening in the brewing inter-corporate war...

One day, Neucom's planes breaches General Resource's airspace over Faith Park. Taking that as provocation, UPEO scrambles four of its pilots, NEMO, Erich Jaeger, Fiona Fitzgerald and Rena Hirose, tasking them with engaging and shooting the planes down...
