Temenos (lvl 21) vs. Kaldena using Hired Help & Fisherman | Temenos Solo Run | Octopath Traveler II

Fight cost is 105k (1 HHB, 3 HHV)
Sometimes 105.8k (if you use HHR to make it more consistent)
EDIT: after too many failed attempts, I use HHR from now on
This uses the Fisherman in Conning Creek.
He's summonable 7 times, has 5 strength, one summon lasts 3 turns and he does not parry attacks.
Fisherman can do the following moves:
- Spearfishing: spear atk 3 to 5 times
- Twofold Thurst: spear atk 2 times
- Skin skum: moves summoner's next action up 1 spot (same effect as Dancer's Stimulate)
Kaldena has 100000 HP and has two phases. The second one is triggered when she has 60000HP left.
In the first phase, she's weak to spear, staff, ice and wind. She has 8 Shield. She acts twice a turn.
She does the following moves:
- Simple Attack
- Elemental Bane: Elemental + Physical heavy sword attack
- Hollow Sword: heavy sword attack that removes 1 BP.
- Waves of Darkness: Dark attack
- Ult: Abyssal Wave: physical + dark attack.
She also can do these moves when you don't have Quartz Shield (prevents Blindness) equipped (not sure that is the exact reason, to be verified):
- Dark Tomb: instant death
- Blinding Shock: blindness attack
More infos about 1st phase:
- Her ult is always followed by a simple Attack
- She always act at with Waves of Darkness at least once in two turns. Sometimes she does it twice.
In the 2nd phase, she has unremovable P.ATK, P.DEF, M.ATK & M.DEF buffs and can act up to 3 times a turn.
The strat I use is the following:
1st phase:
- summon Fisherman, Prayer to the Flame x2, break & HHV x4 (WARNING: don't do HHV x4 if she's still debuffed)
This does less than 40k damage
- summon Fisherman again, heal/sidestep/atk/mystical staff until she's 1 SP, then make sure you're full BP & at least 1400HP (Rev Jam if needed), then: HHB x3 & HHV x4
This does up to 60k damage.
WARNING: it can do less, two of your HHV attacks must do at least 9999 or next step will be harder. If you want to make sure you do max damage here, go with this (harder to nail):
When she has 1 SP & you're at least 2000HP and 3BP, do:
HHR x4, Rev Jam, HHB x3 and HHV x4.
This way you're sure she only have something like 8000HP left for the following step.
2nd phase:
- Heal/Boost (Rev Jam) & HHV x4 (13000 dmg)
Note: if you used HHR in previous step, HHV x3 is enough (9000 dmg)
Gear used:
- Quartz Shield (chest in Gravell
- Imperial Head/Royal Guard Head (Timberain shop)
- Royal Guard Mail (Timberain extended shop, coerce the officer in the shop at night, he has 8 Shield and can one shot you at low level, use Elemental Barrage + LP)
- Empowering Bracelet (+500HP)
- Void Amulet (chest in Rifted Rock, just before Kaldena fight)
Support Skills:
- Hale and Hearty
- A Step Ahead
- Boost Start
- Resilience (this one is a life saver)
Items in inventory:
- Energizing Pomegranate L x2 (Vados drop, chest in Forbidded Shrine)
- Refreshing Jam x1
- Revitalizing Jam x2 (one can be found as a Hidden Item in Winterbloom by coercing the blonde woman in the house between the tavern & the inn)
- Wriggling Root x1 (chest in Abandoned Waterways)
