I had always avoided going through temp agencies. My only experience with them before was back in 2002. It was a very rude place and I got nothing at all out of them. So, when the place that I'm currently working with now called me, I wasn't sure what what to expect. It's turned out to be about as odd and crappy as I expected, with the company I'm working for not being far behind.
