644The brave hunter named Yota managed to hunt down a rare Tempala. But it happens that this creature is alive and you must hunt it down again in this fast-paced adventure and platform game called Tempala! Your goal here is to control your character and collect all the gems in the area. The pillar holding the gold key will lower down as you get the gems. Retrieve the key so you can unlock the door and escape the temple. But as you get to the higher levels, there will be traps that can hurt your character. Use your skill to dash and avoid them skillfully!
Overview
Tempala features a thrilling and fast paced adventure game with elements of puzzle, you will take on the role of a hunter and try to catch a wild deer that ran off to an ancient temple, the story goes that after you arrived from a hunting job, the deer that you brought home sprang back to life and went into the wilderness to run away and hide, you followed it all the way to the temple to hunt it down, it is not going to be easy catching the deer as the temple is filled with all sorts of deadly traps and obstacles, but it will be worth it as its head will complete the collection in your wall, the game features 20 fun filled and fast paced levels for you to complete including 1 bonus level for a total of 21 levels in all, each level will features a different set of traps and obstacles for you to overcome, like spikes, fire, moving floors and many more, you can run and dash and try to escape the deadly traps, just make sure to do one thing though, collect all the gems in the level, once you have collected all the gems, you will be able to access the key and when you get the key, the door to the next level opens and you get to start a new one.
Graphics and Sound
Tempala has very simple visuals, the graphics designs used in the game are quite simple, starting from the characters to the different environments, they look cartoony too and quite pleasing to look at, details are not so high though, but somehow, the characters in the game still managed to look pretty and cute, the environment is also great, the different levels available have different and unique floor designs that make them look quite different from each other, and although designs are quite simple they still managed to look quite pretty, colors are great, the game look quite bright with its lush and vivid colors, game animation is also great, movements are brisk and fluid, even the game's moving parts look really nice, music and sound effect is also cool, the in game music reminds me of the movie Indiana Jones, the game's special visuals are simple by the way, nothing fancy or stunning but the game still looked great from start to finish, overall, it looks quite pretty considering the simple visuals and designs used in the game.
Gameplay
Tempala is quite fast paced when it comes to gameplay, the levels are also short and can be finished in seconds, if you know where you are going that is, you can run or dash here, while collecting gems at the same time, some levels are quite difficult as there are switches you need to activate...and in the right order, if you fail to do so, you'll get stuck and can't move on...you'll have to start the level again, controls are simple, you can use the arrow keys or the WASD to move the character and the spacebar to dash.
Features
Tempala has some very simple but very cute graphic designs, there are a total of 21 levels for you to play, you'll encounter a lot of traps and obstacles, a lot of gems to collect and it has very simple controls for all to try.
Conclusion
Tempala gave me a great time and it gave me a nice challenge as well, it is not really as easy as you think it is, there's more than meets the eye if I may say so, do check it out and see for yourself.
