So, out of those nine remix templates I showed you yesterday, I chose to remix template 5 for my third project. The steps I take are:

0:01 - Thin In, where each element comes in one at a time.
0:17 - Thin Out, where each element exits one at a time. (Most students put this at the end of their projects.)
0:33 - Transpose. In this caes, I transposed down one or two half steps.
0:48 - Quantize, which is lining up all the notes to (in this case) the nearest eighth note triplet.
1:05 - Drum remap, where you take each drum element (in this case a bass, snare, hi-hat, and cymbal) and map it to a different key. Which drums did I switch them to?
1:21 - Volume fades. Each instrument jumps wildly around its volume slider.
1:38 - Stereo pan automation. Everything dances around your head. Put on headphones and try to follow the bass and snare drums!
1:53 - Tempo changes, where I edit the tempo track to automatically speed up or slow down the song.
2:09 - Double time, then quadruple time (but only on the organ, bass, and guitar.)
2:25 - Reverse: Everything but the drums is played backwards.

I hope this video is educational!
