Souls games are some of the most beloved and popular games ever made. From Demon's Souls to Dark Souls and more, FromSoftware did an amazing job curating an excellent repertoire of games that so many studios and developers have worked to recreate over the years. This has led to the term "soulslike" to be used to describe games that replicate or utilize similar gameplay styles and principles.

Aside from FromSoftware's own soulslikes, such as Elden Ring and Bloodborne, there are plenty of AAA and indie studios alike that have worked hard to recreate a similar formula to the FromSoftware one in addition to giving their games their own identities.
