TENUOUS:City is a short first-person exploration and simulation indie game that was produced by Modus Interactive and published on November 10th of this year, on the indie gaming platform itch.io. TENUOUS:City is a game, so to speak, unlike any other ever produced by Modus Interactive: it was produced having as its theme a music album produced by Modus himself, with the same name. Each song was produced using samples taken from and inspired by "GERMS: Nerawareta Machi", an obscure survival horror game produced for the PSX in 1999, which features concepts of body horror and surrealism inspired by the works of David Cronenberg, David Lynch and Shin 'ya Tsukamoto.
