Tera closed beta-Mystic and Berzerker gameplay
0This is my second video of the Tera closed beta. This video shows some slightly higher level mystic and berzerker gameplay. Both characters are now off noob island and are in the second area. I did not show the capital city as it would be some what laggy to FRAPS. One section of the city contains dozens upon dozens of player pets that sit there and offer goods and services with little chat balloons over their heads.
The video starts off with a mystic showing some solo play. He has a mildly decent, frontal AOE. He also has a earth elemental type pet called a thrall. It basically attacks if you get hit or you command it to attack. It's an okay-ish tank. The mystic drops healing balls and also can suck life from mobs and give it back to the group. He can restore his own mana. My berzerker comes back for more action in the same zone as my mystic. She now features some charge attacks and some AOE ones. My charge attacks are charge UP ones, not charge IN ones. The berz has some knockdowns but doesn't specialize in it. You eventually get some shouts and life leeching attacks. The mystic seems to be a support character with some healing and buffing abilities mixed in with different thrall pets. I've found melee combat to be a bit more enjoyable but that might be because a mystic is not a DPS powerhouse. Both toons have a mount they gained by following the quests around the capital city. My berz rides side saddle but I noticed not all female races do.
