Repulse Gameplay
1Welcome back for some more footage of the new free to play FPS from Aeria Games called Repulse. The game is currently in closed beta but knowing Aeria, getting into it shouldn't be too hard.
The previous video focused on the tutorials and this one will actually focus more on some live gameplay. The game is very similar to Blacklight but you can tell UT was somewhere in this game's legacy. Just . . hard to say exactly but some thing feel like they are a nod to UT with the dodging and the chainsaw jump boosting. The way characters seem to "float" or lag in this game though reminds me VERY much of what it was like to play Red Faction back in the day. Purchasing weapons and such in this game is also like BL where you "own" it for about a day and then have to repurchase it past that time.
With BL still going strong and BF3, it'd be hard to find the time to play this game but it's not worth writing off quite yet. I will have one more video available (at least) highlighting some CTF gameplay. More info can be found at http://repulse.aeriagames.com
