Terra Cognita was released also for Amstrad CPC, Commodore 16 and ZX Spectrum.
Amstrad and Spectrum packages indicate Terra Cognita as a sequel to Nonterraqueous (1985), although the two titles, both developed by Stephen N. Curtis, have little in common.
