Builder-dude or Robot-guy??

Maybe I should have prioritized food, but thanks to one friend donating I was able to afford more for a bit while waiting to be paid for freelance work otherwise. I will try to balance out my efforts so as to focus on writing more, but it's good to have a less-stressful game to make content with -- and Terraformers is a relatively easy Mars game that doesn't require excessive micromanagement.

I wish I had a computer which could handle MarZ, but really I think I must be getting too old to properly handle RTS games or something, or maybe just need to focus on nutrition a bit more when I can actually go to grocery stores and budget right as well. -_-

Either way, this is an awesome game with beautiful art. It's sad how many Mars movies have a poorly built habitat and temporary crew rather than colonists who want to stay, as hopefully humanity will someday spread out into space more than LEO or flags & footprints, and it's better to encourage building homes in space rather than merely bases. And build proper homes, rather than ones designed to require extra work and replacement as most things have become since planned obsolescence overshadowed better philosophies of design.

I was hoping to like Farlanders as well, but that frustrated me with how random the landscapes and terraforming options were. This game seems better, even though its introductory paragraphs suggest similar difficulties. However, I suppose there's only trying and seeing what things shall be.

I wish I could live on Mars, along with my birds. That would be so cool. Of course, safer travel methods with low acceleration would be necessary, and centrifugal ships for transit as well. I wish I and my birds were immortal, and then could live to see the day whenever such cool things may ever finally be done. Hopefully there is time before the very end at least, and I hope to see some things finally start to be at the very least.
