This is the first video in a new Terraria guide miniseries, aimed at helping the players understand some of the debuffs a bit more. Each video will focus on a few debuffs each time, and Graz will talk about what they do, and things you can do to handle them. We’ll take a look at some of the worst debuffs in Terraria, and hopefully this series can help shed more light on them.

In our first Terraria debuffs video, we’ll take a look into electrified, distorted, and the feral bite debuffs. First, the electrified debuff is applied by tesla turrents and Gigazappers during the martian madness event, and can cause all kinds of havoc. Next will be the distorted debuff, that can be applied by Alien Queens, while fighting near the vortex pillar. And finally, we’ll examine the Feral Bite Debuff that can be applied by a lot of bats in hardmode, and even Duke Fishron. Feral Bite can only be applied on expert mode maps though, so this doesn’t apply to normal mode.
