About Terraria
Terraria is an open ended world of adventure! You get to shape this world by exploring, mining, building, defending and defeating enemies! Terraria is developed by the game studio Re-Logic and has been compared to Metroid and Minecraft.

The game starts out by making your character and then brings you into a random world. You are given three basic tools: a pickaxe for mining, a sword for combat and an axe for woodcutting. As you mine the underground you will find chests, pots, ores, and rare items to help make new material or tools. Beware of zombies and creatures at night as you explore the world of wonder! It's best to start out making a home for shelter.

When you come across a powerful boss and are able to defeat them, they most likely will drop some rare items. Also, if you build another room and have certain items at hand, you will attract NPCS (non player characters) to live in them and you'll be able to buy or sell items from that npc.
