Other videos I've posted for cheesing Master mode "getfixedboi" (GFB) Skeletron, without using any gear only available from fighting (or completing) bosses or invasions, relied on 2 important properties of the boss:

- The boss's movements all have an exact period of 20 seconds
- The head can still be heavily damaged while the hands are intact

This video attempts to address the question of "What if one or both of these weren't the case?"

The most important component of the answer I've come up with is an adaptation of what's shown at the end of this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZaEC4M5keY

Let's work backward and assume the hands are already gone, because the hands are uniquely terrible.

The arena in this video handles:

- The movements of the head

The track, and the speed I move on it, are designed to intentionally desynchronize player and boss movements, so that the boss approaches from many different angles.
Reliably avoiding the head is achieved from the boss's tracking of the player converging to stability, rather than from synchronizing track movement with the boss, solving the hypothetical issue of the boss becoming aperiodic.
I stop attacking the boss for part of the fight to ensure a full night's worth of time has passed before I finish off the boss; the boss can be killed much more quickly, of course, but the point was to show that the arena likely works indefinitely.

- The hands, because we're assuming the hands would be...handled...by a separate arena

A small loop like the one in this video just doesn't work well against the boss's hands for an indefinite amount of time.
If the boss's movements were aperiodic, it seems better to just use the "mirror arena" design from the 1st video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkUKsebHeU4

to deal with the hands, but if the boss was still periodic, and the hands only needed to be destroyed to make the head vulnerable, then the track designs at the beginning of the 2nd video of this series (the 1st linked here) suffice.
Once the hands were weakened, the arena in this video could be switched to for the remainder of the fight.

- Homing skulls, which will always miss or crash into blocks

The only paths they can take that would reach the player will smack into the blocks in the center of the arena.
The rest simply can't curve enough to reach the player.

- The Dark Casters

They'll never be crashed into, because they can only spawn on the blocks that are blocking the homing skulls.
Similarly, their projectiles will always miss, as they only fire from within the arena's center; the projectiles are guaranteed to cross the player's path just after the player has moved out of the way, and at no other time.
The arena is also too high above the surface for Dark Casters to spawn below.

- Falling stars

They're actually a problem in GFB worlds, but there's a bunch of blocks placed just off screen above the arena to block them, and they're stacked high enough to prevent Dark Casters from spawning on them.

This simple arena design lets us use conventional weapons, TNT Barrels, and Bunnies.
Regular Bunnies turn into Explosive Bunnies in FTW and GFB worlds, can still be farmed in them (with difficulty, but still), and can be placed from a safe distance, making them usable while riding minecarts (Explosive Bunnies can't be).
The arena automatically solves every problem with Skeletron, including the 2 proposed hypothetical problems that would break the arenas shown in my previous videos, except for the hands.
