in todays video we use Smash Bros Mod to make Thanatos fight Adult Eidolon Wyrm.

The Adult Eidolon Wyrm is a Superboss battled in the 4th layer of the Abyss. While it can be summoned at any time, it is intended to be fought after both the Exo Mechs and Supreme Calamitas have been defeated.

Its only unique drop is the Halibut Cannon, a powerful endgame gun.

Notes
The Adult Eidolon Wyrm's awakening depends only on whether or not the player has the Chaos State debuff while in the Abyss, and will therefore spawn if the player enters the biome with the debuff already applied, even if the Rod of Discord or other items which inflict Chaos State are not actually being used within the Abyss.
As a result, if the player has the Chaos State debuff and is in the Abyss when they kill the Adult Eidolon Wyrm, it will immediately respawn.
The Adult Eidolon Wyrm does not require Polterghast to be defeated in order to drop weapons. This means that, if the player has the strategy and the patience to do so, they can acquire those immensely powerful weapons only after obtaining a Rod of Discord at the beginning of Hardmode.
Enemies spawned by the Adult Eidolon Wyrm do not drop items or coins.

The Adult Eidolon Wyrm's theme is Threats of the Ocean Floor, which was made by the artist DM DOKURO.
If the Calamity Music add-on mod is disabled, Boss 3 will play instead.
An eidolon in Greek Literature is a spirit-like image of a person, either living or dead.
Its ice and lightning attacks are similar to those performed by the Lunatic Cultist. As well as "Eidolon" being a term used to describe something idolized (potentially in the fashion of a cult), this further establishes a connection between these enemies.
It may also be related to the Eidolist, as they have similar names and both spawn in the Abyss.
Its design is based on a creature from the aquatic exploration game Subnautica, known as the Ghost Leviathan. The original sprite was also a copy of the Ghost Leviathan's design.
The different life-stages makes this more evident, as there are both juvenile and adult Ghost Leviathans.
The Adult versions of both creatures share the similar purpose of preventing the player from doing something (Adult Ghost Leviathans protect the crater edge, while the Adult Eidolon Wyrm prevents the player from using the Rod of Discord or other short ranged teleportation items).
The Adult Eidolon Wyrm is a "Superboss" in this mod. In some RPG games, superbosses are extremely powerful enemies that are very challenging even if the player has endgame equipment.
The Adult Eidolon Wyrm could be considered the Calamity Mod version of the Dungeon Guardian since both are extremely strong enemies that are intended to prevent the player from performing a certain action.
In previous versions of the mod, the Adult Eidolon Wyrm could spawn at any time in the 3rd and 4th layers of the Abyss after Polterghast had been defeated.
Similarly to the Eidolon Wyrm, it would spawn as a passive NPC, and only attack the player if they were affected with the Chaos State debuff, or if it was attacked.
Prior to the 1.3.4.001 update, the Adult Eidolon Wyrm had the highest health of any NPC in the mod, with a whopping 30,000,000 / 60,000,000 health.
Prior to the 1.5.0.001 update, the Adult Eidolon Wyrm used to be considered a Mini boss.
Prior to the 1.5.1.001 update, the Adult Eidolon Wyrm used to be unable to be hurt by any attack that would deal more than 10% of its health in one hit, such as another mod's butcher function or an incredibly powerful weapon. When hit by such an attack, the damage is reduced to 0.
If the Boss Checklist Mod is installed, its unique despawn message will be "...".
The canonical name for the Eidolon Wyrm is Jared.

The Exo Mechs are a post-Moon Lord boss that can be fought after defeating Jungle Dragon, Yharon, and intended to be fought around the same time as Supreme Calamitas. They are currently one of the most challenging bosses in the Calamity Mod.

Defeating them will provide the player with Exo Prisms, a crafting material for various endgame equipment.
