FSD 12.5.1.5 first impressions on HW3 “legacy” Model S (~45 min drive)
Here are my first impressions of FSD 12.5.1.5:
1) FSD wouldn’t turn on initially. I had to do a DAS reset in Service Mode. This may be unique to my vehicle as an OG tester, I’m not sure… YMMV
2) Initial takeoff from parking lot was smooth and came with no hesitation
3) Severe phantom braking experience after entering the main road - perhaps a fluke for the 1st drive only
4) Relatively comparable to 12.4.3 without many noticeable differences in smoothness or lane selection. This could have been related to the time of day.
5) Ego did not slow down for railroad crossing
6) Could not increase driving speed on residential roads w/ scroll wheel adjustment for max speed setting
