From The Back Of The Grid is a series in which I go back and revisit some of my favourite driving and racing games of my youth, in roughly chronological order.

The Test Drive series continues to this day, but this was the one that started it off way back in 1987. In this game you have to choose your car from one of five cool options, and then conquer five stages without crashing to bits or getting caught by the fuzz.
