Tested! Cura pause at Layer Auto Change Filament | Multi Color Prints
419A user asked me about the Cura pause at layer scripts in a earlier video. This is my test.
Cura has amazing post processing power using its script menu. Today I used it to print a 2 color print on a Geeetech A10 printer. Picked a layer and it paused, ejected the filament and coached me through the reload. I am using a custom Marlin 2.0 firmware by Vert. If anyone is willing to test on other printers I would love to hear your results in the comments. Hoping it works on the Ender 3...
I can confirm that the same script does not work on the Anet ET4 or ET4x. I am not surprised though as they have custom firmware.
