Testing my new shield
2First sparring match with my new "lighter shield" that I made to see if I can get the i33 concepts working with a round shield.
Steve won this fight by a mile and a half :D But it was fun to play around with my axe and shield.
Steve didn't actually make many attacks to the shield itself overall, so we'll have to arrange some more focused destruction testing...
The shield was definitely lighter, but I think this actually brought out some of my bad habits. If you notice, I'm pretty much always holding the shield out, or punching it out, it never stays to my body for long. In this case, this lead to me taking a lot of hits.
Usually with my Parish Round shield, I'll be knackered much quicker and will end up holding this shield closer to my body more often.
In terms of damage, it's pretty much suffered none against the synths. Good times. I'll bring it next week and see if we can make a dent!
