Now, let me make sure I say this now... this is a TEST firmware, there may be bugs but otherwise... I have not had any problems (besides what I say below)

So, after 1 and 1/2 years of waiting... (a lot longer than some of the people that have whined about it in the 3DScapture forums before Pokemon X/Y came out...) a test version has FINALLY come out! The good news, is that it works on my English version as you can see in this video. The bad news... is that it does NOT work on the Japanese 3DS (no idea why one works and not the other tbh, except a newer firmware may not work? *shrugs*

That pretty much shows that it is NOT gonna happen until a newer update is released (don't worry, it still works I just had to downgrade it) so until then, Japanese 3DS gameplay will still be over the headphone jack (which is not the best quality, but still is better than not even using the headphone jack)

Also, the game I test it on is Chapter 1 of Kid Icarus: Uprising (Difficulty 9.0)

I've done a playthrough of it, and it was also one of the first things I did for the channel (before a capture device was even brought out)

Also I say it took me 19 tries (try 19 is in the normal playlist) however, one of the tries was not put up due to a horrible start with the recording process as well (it would have gone up if I completed the level, but since I didn't there was no way I would do it)

Finally, if there are any problems with the audio or anything (as I show what I have them set to near the beginning of the video) PLEASE let me know in the comments. If everything is ok, then let me know that in the comments as well.

And so, one step closer to easier recording for me! :D
