Testing The Antlion Audio Mod Mic Wireless Playing Shadow Point In VR With The Oculus Quest
26OK, So you all know I have been struggling to get good audio quality on the Oculus Quest videos I had been putting out and I guess Antlion Audio saw this too and was kind enough to send me their Mod Mic Wireless.... I can't thank them enough for this huge upgrade to my channel!
So now that my voice audio problem is solved I felt it was high time to give Shadow Point another try. I had tried to stream this game twice during the week leading up to the Quest's launch and both times the audio was so bad that either the voice audio or gameplay couldn't be heard so I am happy to say the Mod Mic wireless was the solution!
Shadow Point is another solid title from Coatsink games and I was really glad to see it as a launch title for the Quest. I first got the chance to try it while attending PAX East this year and I was blown away by even the short demo I got there and I am happy to say that carried over to playing the full game in the comfort of my own home!
The gameplay is great and incorporates the shadow puzzles nicely. Shadow Point's narration is top notch with Sir Patrick Stewart providing his voice to the game and this pairs nicely with the other voice acting in the game.
Overall I would have to recommend both the Mod Mic Wireless for anyone looking to get great voice audio capture into their Quest recordings and of course Shadow Point for anyone looking for a well crafted and relaxing puzzle game with outstanding narrations!
