Channel Update - Thanks for 7000 Subscribers + First Look At The New Studio!
So over this past weekend I am pleased to say we hit 7000 subscribers here on the channel and I can't thank each of you enough for all of the support and encouragement you have given me over the years!
A little over 4 years ago when I started this channel I did so out of a true passion to preach the second coming of Virtual Reality to whoever would listen. Here we are in 2019 and VR is exploding and I feel blessed to have been in some very small way a part of that growth!
So where do we go from here? Well as you will see in the video I am beginning to set up a new studio space in the house Stacey and I just bought. One of the bonuses was that the new house came with a 12x20 out building that I am slowly converting into a studio space. So far I have run some electric out to it and put in a small window unit AC to keep me cool. The next steps are to get some walls up and set up a green cube area for filming some MR videos. Needless to say I am very excited to finally have a dedicated space of my own for making videos and to continue my mission of bringing as many people into the VR ecosystem as I can!
Other things that are going an as you might have recently seen would be that the VRSpies have risen from the ashes and are back to doing a weekly podcast on our YouTube channel. You can catch that show every Sunday at 3pm CST and I will provide a link at the end of this description for anyone who wants to head on over and check out our past episodes... There is some truly funny and also some really cringy stuff there so if you like what you see then don't forget to smash subscribe and ring the bell so you get notified the next time we are live!
I will also be continuing to work on getting more vr videos out on the channel and will be featuring the Pimax 5K+ a lot more as I am finding that I love that damn headset! As for Index, I am still hoping that the GoFundMe raises enough to purchase one but so far it has stalled at $400. If you want to see Index content on my channel or help with the studio renovation I am keeping the GoFundMe open until the end of the month and then I will end it. To make it worth peoples while, I am putting up a $100 Oculus store gift card in a raffle for anyone who donates $10 or more... there is still time to make a donation and get entered so head to the link below!
So that's it for this update and again I wanted to thank all of the subscribers here on my channel... I couldn't do this without your encouragement and support so it truly means a lot to me when I think of the community we are building... See ya in the next video and good luck in the Raffle to those who have entered! []-)
