Suzuki Intruder VL800 Volusia (2003)

Trying to install a charger (similar to one I have on my C90T) this Monday, I found out that the battery had ultra-corroded negative contact. Just trying to unscrew it made it break completely, with the battery contact falling out completely (!). Yeah, shit happens, as they say.

So today, I installed a new battery (Exide ETZ14-B: 12V / 11,2Ah / 205A / polarity 1), also applying a generous layer of copper paste to both contacts. The bike started without issues, even without applying booster (though it was sitting in a rather cold garage for almost a week). Afterwards, I made a short test ride, just around the block.

Here, as I stopped to pull out the keys to the garage, I also pulled out a phone to take a video of the voltage, taken directly from the battery - while idling and while revving the engine a bit. As it stayed above 14V, I'm really satisfied with the result.
