If you beat Hard Mode without using a continue, you are treated to this ending. There are a few endings you can get depending on the difficulty mode you play and how you complete them.

On EASY and NORMAL, you receive congratulation pictures instead of endings, and HARD and EXTRA (VERY/SUPER) HARD give you two different endings based on whether or not you used a continue. Not using any continues will get you the best endings for both difficulties.
