Tetris Effect: Connected - Connected
2Welcome to Tetris Effect: Connected where the major part of this release is that it has multiplayer modes so you can be pitted against another player or the AI.
Again I'm doing all this blind, and experiencing it for the first time so I'm writing what I experienced below.
Straight out of the gate, you're learning the new multiplayer mode.
Earning any form of line clearance and T-Spins will push the zone meter forward.
Once you're all connected it's important to start clearing all the lines as if you were playing Zone in base game.
The difference is you get these Purple pieces that can fix any mistake made to the grid and can fit in places where a line piece is required.
The title also provides a Maniac Mod which makes the AI more aggressive this can be accessed when selecting slots for when you're putting which position you want to be on the field.
To keep short about why I didn't cover this mod: I value what sanity I have left and I'm not that high rank of a player.

Unfortunately I had to start using the AI here as the people I was matching up with either knocked out during Aquarius or Leo.
The AI was set to Skill Level 8. I was going to set it to 7 but after a good amount of time lost that went into that Area I wanted to get it done to be perfectly honest.
T-Spin and Clear lines as quickly as possible when you're in this area to get into zone and deal out damage fast.

The AI was set to Skill Level 10. My best advice is if your play style is aggressive like mine is to stay low, don't build and attack.
Stay low and attack through it all, T-Spin is important, a method I don't utilize much which I was saved thanks to the AI.
This is very important when you're on the third phase. First phase; stack. Second phase; start reducing your stack height. Third phase; be at the bottom.
Tetrimidion is a combination of all the other Zodiac spirits that you faced before. And it is very aggressive.
