EA/PS3 Tetris [2010] - Variants
Based on the PlayStation Portable version released a year prior.
The PS3 version of Tetris now on the big screen, with options of wearing 3D glasses and having a clean Full HD picture. Developed by Wanako Games (later known as Behaviour Santiago before going defunct) and Electronic Arts.
For its time it was one of the more solid versions of Tetris brought to the PlayStation line of consoles. (especially when the next title was Ultimate. Oh boy, oh boy).

So Variant mode is basically a range of modes played in 40 line Tetris. So to summarise what is covered in this part:
• Origin – Standard 40 Lines Tetris
• Treadmill –Blocks shift 4 cells to the right for every piece dropped
• Gravity – Cascade 40 Lines Tetris
• Flood – After 7 moves, garbage is added to the bottom of the field.
• Laser – Clear lines in the field, you want a high TPM to not worry about the Laser. Clearing lines makes it return to the top.
• Scanner – Cleared lines remain in place until 10 moves pass to then a scanner crosses the playfield and clears any completed lines.
• Split – Playfield is split down the middle basically meaning you have to play holding pieces when you want the pieces on the other side.
• Chill – Pieces freeze overtime.
• Flashlight– The piece is will only show the columns available to their size. Hard Dropping and clearing lines is recommended to see the field.
• Ledges – Pieces have to placed on non-clearable blocks below the blocks is a void where no pieces will land.
• Magnetic– Red and Blue pieces will be attracted to the same colour present on the field and will always move towards that magnetic pull.
• Radical – 20G Tetris... help.
I'm playing these at a Level 10 just to showcase the Variants being played.
