If we make a short time travel we see that a lot of tetris games have been released on different platforms,
although the gameplay of tetris games is about the same, unfortunately there are not that many tetris games that can give the real tetris experience as it should be.
Some games feel awkward to play, or the speed of the blocks' reaction to your controls don't seem to be the same.
There are maybe only a handful of tetris games that I really liked, the gameboy tetris, the wiiware tetris, tetris on NES, and now I have to think about what other tetris games kept me hooked on them.
'Tetris® Effect: Connected' comes with perfect accuracy for the right tetris gameplay experience,
Both classic, modern and even a new co-op mode are present in this game.
In this co-op mode you will have to work with 3 players to be able to defeat an AI, every so often all playing fields will come together into 1 large playing field and you will have to make as many lines as possible with the three of them to defeat this AI,
Don't forget that when these playing fields come together the lines have to be 3X as long as in a normal tetris playing field. This mode also works a bit with levels and the further you get the higher the challenge becomes.
Online you can do other modes where you have to finish with the highest score like it should in the world tournaments tetris,
You will also be able to play the well-known battle mode against other players in which you can cause extra blocks to be added on your opponent's field by making many lines.
All online modes also have a player ranking that increases or decreases as you win or lose,
the matchmaking will also always place you with an opponent who has a similar ranking.
The game also has a great soundtrack and beautiful graphically-focused backgrounds/environments,
these environments are best admired in VR.
