9Beamrider written for the Intellivision and published by Activision in 1983. The game was then ported to the Atari 2600. I was a big fan of Space Invaders and Galaxian as a kid but playing Beamrider offered something a little different. It felt very polished and its game perspective was something I hadn't seen before. The port to the Spectrum is a little stripped down but the gaming experience is spot on and very close to the cartridge version. Definitely worth a play.👍
