One of our favorite events of the year has come and gone; the Tallgrass Film Festival.
Taking place every October in Wichita, Tallgrass is one of the country's highest rated film festivals, featuring a variety of amazing narrative films, short films, and documentaries.
One of the films showing at this year's Tallgrass Film Festival was When Jeff Tried to Save the World. Directed by Kendall Goldberg and starring Jon Heder, Jim O'Heir, and Brendan Meyer, When Jeff Tried to Save the World tells the story of an old-school bowling alley manager who discovers the owner's plans to sell, but he learns saving Winky’s World means pulling himself out of the gutter too.
