Novastorm is a on-rail, FMV space shooter. The planet took off into space to find a new home, and left their own well being to an artificial intelligence, that turned against them, and is now trying to destroy their creators! You play as a Scavanger IV fighter pilot, and it's your mission to take down the Scarab X.
REVIEW: I hate it. It wasn't fun. Any fun I had was ironic.
Because it's an FMV, it can screw you over on a dime. You never know where on the screen is safe because it'll just pan over the hazard and you'll take damage. Hitboxes were unclear for the FMV sequences as well.
Shooting the other flying enemies was fine and probably the best part, but that's pretty sad.
Story was generic. Music didn't do it for me. The main menu sucks ass. This is apparently a port from some obscure home computer, and only the PS1 version has the FMV cutscenes? Don't take my word for it.
Gave it a .5/10 because it was playable. Literally didn't even want to bother drawing a thumbnail for it.
