I'm just a big nerdy puppet at heart so it was FAN-tastic when The Nerd Soapbox talked to Alex Kingston, River Song from Doctor Who, on the red carpet at The 42nd Annual Saturn Award. Alex was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Guest Star on Television for "The Husbands of River Song" however, she lost to William Shatner for his appearance in "Haven" as Croatoan. Doctor Who's "The Husbands of River Song" did take home the Saturn Award for Best Television Presentation that night. The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films is the body that votes on and presents the Saturn Awards to the best in genre film and television.
