2 Years have passed since the end of Sin and the beginning of the Eternal Calm - known to all of Spira as Yuna's Calm, for her role in breaking the cycle of Death. But the more things change, the more they stay the same and though she has shifted careers from Summoner to Sphere Hunter, Yuna's aim is to find the truth of a mysterious sphere and, more specifically, the man in the sphere who looks just like "him".
The next sphere takes the Gullwings back to the Ruins of Zanarkand, the place where Yuna and her Guardians chose to abandon the false hope of the Final Aeon back during her Pilgrimage. But to see this place that holds such significance to her turned into a tourist trap is a bit too much for the Former Summoner to take!
