Sneak peek at my new Game Boy Advance 3D game engine! I'm calling it the 3DSage Engine 2. The first game engine was my 3D GBA Minecraft but this is more advanced with a floating 3rd person camera that avoids wall collisions, particles, variable wall heights, textured polygons, and I'll be adding a lot more!
I started programming it from the ground up and created some creative optimizations to make this run around 30fps but I'm throttling it at 15fps for constancy and to show more on screen. The console hardware came out around 2001 so I'm trying to see how far I can push it.
I know there's not many pixels but I'd like to recreate some PS1 or N64 type games, something modern, or brand new so let me know what you would like to see!
Possible download link when I fix some bugs and add more.
Also, these programming tricks I have done here could be added to the Raycaster part 4 tutorial.
