112Most people do not understand how the altcoin season actually works. It is not random. It moves in clear, predictable stages that repeat every cycle, and if you know how to recognize them, you will know when to go all in and when to step back.
Stage one begins when Bitcoin breaks its all time high while Bitcoin dominance starts to fall. That means liquidity is flowing out of Bitcoin and into altcoins, pushing them higher even faster. Stage two is when Ethereum begins to outperform Bitcoin. That is your signal that people are leaving centralized exchanges and starting to explore real opportunities on decentralized ones.
Stage three is when the larger market cap coins take the spotlight. You will see the bigger, more established altcoins near the top of CoinMarketCap start moving 400, 500, even 600 percent. That is when things heat up. But stage four is where fortunes are made. Low liquidity, small simple projects start exploding. Meme coins. NFTs. Ideas that make no sense, yet they do 50 times, 100 times, even 1000 times returns.
That is the euphoria phase, what I call the power cycle, a wild 30 to 90 days where everything goes up and everyone thinks they are a genius. That is also where most people lose it all because they forget the number one rule: take profits.
When that kind of excitement hits, it is not time to get greedy. It is time to stay humble, stay grounded, and protect your wins.
