The Accidental Wolf tells the story of a housewife (Kelli O’Hara) who becomes embroiled in a military cover-up after she answers an unknown phone number, only to hear the caller plead for help for his pregnant wife. Season 2 follows Katie just as she starts returning to her old life, when another phone call sends her back to searching for a mysterious woman named Tala. As she gets closer to the truth, threats begin to emerge around her, bringing danger straight to her doorstep.
About the panelists
Kelli O'Hara, who received a 2018 Emmy nomination for her role in the series, has established herself as one of Broadway's greatest leading ladies. Her portrayal of Anna Loenowens in The King and I garnered her the 2015 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical, along with Grammy, Drama League, Outer Critics and Olivier Nominations. Other film and television credits include: Season 2 of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why, All the Bright Places, Peter Pan Live!, Sex & The City 2, Martin Scorsese's The Key to Reserva, Showtime's Master of Sex, The Good Fight, Blue Bloods, N3mbers, and the animated series Car Talk. She was awarded the prestigious Drama League's Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theatre Award in 2019.Along with her two Grammy nominations, her solo albums, Always and Wonder in the World, are available on Ghostlight Records.
Arian Moayed is an Iranian-born, Award-winning actor, and the writer and director of The Accidental Wolf. Hecurrently writing an autobiography about his family’s immigration story. His notable acting credits include Broadway's The Humans (Drama Desk Award), Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo (Tony nomination), Guards at the Taj (Obie Award), Emmy winning Succession (HBO), and an upcoming Shonda Rhimes’ series, Inventing Anna (Netflix). He is the co-Founder of Waterwell, a civic-minded and socially conscious non-profit art and education company.
Mike Doyle is an actor, writer and director. His feature film debut, Almost Love, which he wrote and directed, premiered in Toronto in 2019 at Inside Out, It was acquired by Netflix in 2020, and stars Kate Walsh, Scott Evans, Augustus Prew, Michelle Buteau, and Patricia Clarkson. Mike can currently be seen on NBC's New Amsterdam and Showtime's City on a Hill.
Marsha Stephanie Blake received a 2019 Emmy Award nomination and a Critics Choice nomination for her role as Linda McCray in Ava Duvernay’s acclaimed Netflix miniseries When They See Us. Some of her upcoming projects include the limited series The Last Days Of Ptolemy Grey for Apple TV+, directed by Ramin Bahrani and starring opposite Sam Jackson. Marsha has also been a part of the award-winning casts of Orange Is The New Black (for which she earned a SAG Ensemble Award), Girls, This is Us and How to Get Away With Murder.
Damon Owlia is an award-winning Iranian-American filmmaker. Recent series/film productions include The Courtroom, a feature film adapted from the eponymous critically acclaimed play, which uses verbatim text of real court transcripts to tell the story of Elizabeth Keathley's fight to stay with her family in the country she calls home, and The Flores Exhibits, a series of videos in which artists, lawyers, advocates, and immigrants read the sworn testimonies of children held in detention facilities at the U.S./Mexico border. Damon serves on the boards of Waterwell and Friends of Citymeals on Wheels, which provides a lifeline of nourishment to New Yorkers in need.
