The Alimbic Prophecy is the most crucial lore collectible in Metroid Prime Hunters as it is the player’s key to achieving the good and canonical ending to the game, in which, Gorea is destroyed by means of the Omega Cannon with all 7 hunters, counting Samus Aran herself, making their safe getaway before the Oubliette is obliterated, after which, Samus is visited and thanked by the Alimbic for ending Gorea once and for all...However, I submit to you that there is in fact more to this prophecy than meets the eye. For starters, the first portion of the prophecy begins with the phrase, “it is written,” which could very well imply that this prophecy predates even the coming of Gorea, which may imply further that the prophecy may in fact be related TO the coming of Gorea, and it is this very implication that I am suggesting.
