The Alters on Linux: Cloning Fun & Smooth Performance! (Radeon 890M 1080p)
Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel!
In today's video, I'm testing the recently released The Alters on Linux. The Alters is a fascinating game – a unique blend of strategy-based building, third-person exploration, and a deep sci-fi story about cloning yourself. I genuinely love it and can highly recommend it!
The great news is, The Alters runs remarkably well out-of-the-box on Linux, and the performance on my mini PC (with Radeon 890M + HX370) is surprisingly good. I did utilize FSR and Frame Generation to achieve a desired 60FPS, which I believe was consistently maintained. While Frame Gen isn't for everyone, I found it works perfectly fine in this particular game.
Beyond the game itself, I believe I've finally found some excellent settings for GPU Screen Recording to deliver higher-quality videos. Please let me know what you think of the recording quality in the comment section below!
