I can't understand why the makers of Aerofly FS didn't show screenshots of these areas. I mean, look at the ultra High Definition textures and huge amount of fauna down below. This is all running on max settings btw.

It's funny you know. The "high resolution" area of switzerland you can fly in is significantly smaller in size than the actual available flying area on the map. They don't tell you on the site that the texture quality significantly degrades outside of the airport areas.

You have to love the upfront honesty of some game devs these days...

When it boils down to it, they're just trying to take advantage of the void that's been left behind from Microsoft Flight Simulator and doing a pretty mediocre job at it.

Considering that this was released in 2012, it really doesn't show any improvement over other simulators nor does it bring anything new to the table.
